The GOPHER Database Does Not Include the Following Microcontrollers...

GOPHER does not include the tens of thousands of part numbers that refer to how a part is packaged for manufacturing. Instead, we include only the "base" MCU part that design engineers would seek, and ignore the "extraneous" MCU parts that would be of interest primarily to the engineer's purchasing agent after the base MCU has been found.

For example, part numbers that specify packaging features such as reel, tape, tray, tube, etc. would only be of interest to the purchasing agent and can easily be located on a distributor's webpage once the base MCU is identified. This eliminates a huge number of part numbers that are of little, if any, interest to marketing and sales departments as well as field support engineers.

Unlike other cross-vendor MCU search tools GOPHER does not include Microprocessors (MPUs).
